Creative Director – Rich Dean
You’ll love building custom WordPress and WooCommerce websites. You don’t use off the shelf themes, instead, you enjoy building custom themes from the ground up using PHP. You’re fun and positive and love being part of a team. You love to learn new things and you’re adaptable. You have an eye for design, have meticulous attention to detail and you ensure your websites are thoroughly tested. You take immense pride in your work and you relish the opportunity of working at the top of your game. You’ll have at least two years’ experience working in a digital agency or a very similar environment. You’ll live in Kent and will be happy both working remotely and commuting to our Covid-secure offices in central Maidstone, once the current restrictions ease.
Supersonic Playground is a fast-growing design-led digital agency specialising in high-quality custom WordPress and WooCommerce websites. We’re based in the heart of Maidstone, Kent, and we love delivering fantastic websites to a wide range of diverse clients. We have ambitious growth plans and we’re looking for great people to join our team.
Working alongside our team of designers and developers, and taking direction from the Company Director, Client Success Manager and Project Manager, you’ll work across a wide variety of projects delivering high-quality WordPress websites, either using our pre-created package websites or creating fully custom WordPress themes. We have an excellent framework that we work to, so you’ll use a tried and tested system that we use to deliver all of our websites. Using a handful of carefully selected plugins, you’ll create the WordPress admins and associated PHP theme files, and you’ll also work across the associated front-end development to complete the build of the websites, using LESS CSS and some jQuery. You’ll work directly with our designers, taking wireframes, visual designs and technical specifications for you to follow when creating the websites.
If you think this is the role for you and you’d make a great fit for our team, then why not send us your CV with a little information about yourself and who knows, you might be our next recruit.
