Lall Bray are a fast growing and successful property investment and development company based in Maidstone. Following a successful rebrand and website launch of their main company last year, we were delighted when they approached us to brand and market their latest property development, a complete refurbishment and conversion of a commercial property into six luxury flats at No. 4 Albion Place, Maidstone.
When undertaking property developments, Lall Bray has an ethos of creating an end product that is a level above their competition, and so the brand we created had to convey this premium philosophy.
We created a simple yet elegant brand mark that emphasises the number 4.
The logo was designed to work on both light and dark backgrounds, but this contrast between light and dark was also carried through as a key component of the branding, and was intended the highlight underlying dichotomy of the building itself – although No. 4 Albion Place is a traditional Victorian terrace on the outside, the interior was completed with a high-spec, modern and contemporary feel.
The upmarket feel of the properties was emphasised in the marketing materials that accompanied the development.
Another key challenge we faced was that the branding and marketing were being completed while the property itself was still being refurbished, which meant we had no visual or photographic assets to work with. To get round this, we created a key art line drawing of the front elevation which was based on an older photo of the building.
Once the building work was completed, we were able to go in and conduct a photo shoot of one of the completed properties, with the photos being featured in the final advertising, both in printed publications and online listings.
The whole campaign has been extremely successful and culminated in an open house where nearly all of the properties were sold. The client has been extremely pleased with the results and we can’t wait to work with them again on future projects.
