Does your website need care, improvement or a rebuild?
A starting point for deciding what kind of help to ask for.
Write down the things that are hard today: slow changes, unclear ownership, outdated content or a site that no longer reflects the business. These are more useful starting points than a list of technologies.
Identify the domain registrar, hosting provider, website platform and third-party tools. Note who manages each one. Gather contracts and licence information, but arrange a secure route for credentials.
A new team should understand the site before promising to support it. Ask what they will check, what happens if they find existing issues and how onboarding is priced.
Confirm responsibilities, timing, access and continuity of hosting. Keep the existing service in place until the new arrangement and any migration are ready.
Ask what the monthly fee covers, how requests are estimated and what happens when you need more time. A good handover ends with a clear working relationship.
