AirBench is one of the UK’s leading manufacturers and suppliers of dust, fume, and mist extraction equipment. As a family run business, AirBench puts customer satisfaction at the heart of every installation, with each client receiving a personal service from their managing director, Simon.
The business challenge
In early 2020, AirBench found Supersonic Playground via Google search and reached out to see if we could support them with the design and development of their new website.
The client was looking for a professional website to reflect their multi-product offering, which their previous website struggled to convey. AirBench also needed to enable customers to effortlessly explore their products in detail, with technical specifications, images, reviews, and the ability to book a demo.
While AirBench’s main products are not available via the website, they did want to sell accessories. Therefore, the new site needed to be detailed, content-rich, and enquiry driven (like a brochure site) but with additional eCommerce functionality for smaller items.
The solution we delivered
Our team worked closely with AirBench to produce a complete user experience piece that helped identify the structure for the new site. We then leveraged WordPress to deliver a fully custom brochure website that showcases all the technical aspects of their main products and drives users to book a demo. The site also harnesses a WooCommerce shop bolt-on, giving them the ability to sell smaller items.
As part of this project, we also recommended our Modular Content Builder, which gives the client the freedom to manage and update their content in-house, reducing their reliance on us for basic content and layout changes.
The new website launched in early 2021, and we’ve received very positive feedback from the client, who is very happy with how the new site presents their business and how easy it is to manage on a day-to-day basis.
