The Challenge

Hyssop Project is an established construction company specialising in domestic renovations and building projects. They handle all aspects of domestic building projects, from concept to completion, and pride themselves on their work’s superior quality. Their previous website had served them well for many years, but by the time we met them, it was no longer performing as they wanted, and it was also built on a clunky bespoke content management system making it hard to maintain. Hyssop Project was also exhibiting at the high-profile property show Grand Designs Live around two months from when we met, so the clock was ticking to deliver a brand-new WordPress website in time for the show.

Our Solution

As a small company, the budget was a key concern for the client, so we created the new Hyssop Project using our affordable Small Business Package Website, which has all the benefits of a custom WordPress website but at less than half the price. Using Hyssop Project’s existing branding, we styled the Small Business Package Website to give it a modern, contemporary feel that would sit at home within the upmarket Grand Designs Live atmosphere, and we also made sure that their case studies were front and centre by leveraging the wealth of project photography that they had built up.

The Results

Hyssop Project’s new Small Business Package Website was ready in time for Grand Designs Live, and they did really well at the show. The new website is modern, contemporary and sleek. It has just the right appeal for both upmarket homeowners and architects looking for a high-quality building contractor, exactly who Hyssop Project was seeking.
