You’ve just invested in a brand-new WordPress website, so it’s important to keep it up-to-date and running like new. The WordPress platform is not only incredibly detailed and versatile, but also constantly evolving to meet demand and provide additional functionality. It can be challenging to keep up with such a rapidly changing piece of software which is why so many website owners have actively sought professional help in maintaining their sites.
Fortunately, the very same people who created your amazing new WordPress website are on hand to take care of it for you. Why waste your valuable time trying to manage your website yourself when you could be focusing on more important things like running your business.
We offer a range of WordPress support and website maintenance services to cover most budgets, and depending on your needs, we can tailor solutions to your exact requirements. Get in touch to find out speak to a member of our team or to inquire into our website maintenance packages.
For the majority of the time, updating the WordPress core or plugins is relatively straightforward, but every now and then something can change causing a feature of your WordPress website to break unexpectedly. How do you revert back to the previous version? And how do you go about fixing it in the background while still ensuring the website stays live for your visitors? These are all the things that we take care of on a daily basis for our clients, and we can do the same for you.
If your website is hosted with us, then you’re already very well protected, but what if you need that extra level of protection? Or what if your new WordPress website does become a victim of hacking? We’ve teamed up with Sucuri, the leading online security monitoring prevention and protection service to keep your website secure. We can integrate malware and hack scanning, website hardening, blacklist monitoring, DDoS mitigation and firewall protection. And if your website has been hacked, we can implement a malware removal and hack response, all part of our website maintenance services.
Customer behaviours are always changing, and you never know for sure how your visitors will use your website until it’s live. We have a range of website monitoring and analytics tools at our disposal, along with a wide range of user experience tasks and techniques. We can analyse and test your website, and make adjustments and improvements as we go to ensure that your WordPress website is constantly evolving with your audience and staying one step ahead of the competition.
Am I tied into a lengthy contract?
Absolutely not. We don’t ask you to sign any ongoing contracts and we can maintain your WordPress website as frequently, or infrequently as you’d like. We can discuss your requirements and the options available, and then work out a maintenance plan that suits your budget.
Can you maintain a WordPress website that was built by someone else?
Yes we can, and we quite often manage and maintain WordPress websites that were built by a third party. Because the quality of WordPress development can vary greatly, we’re not able to give fixed costs for a piece of work and can only give initial estimates up front, and even then these estimates may go up, as until we actually start to work with the source files for your website, we won’t know how well it’s been built or how complex the work will be.
Do you offer bespoke website maintenance services?
We fully realise that every website will have slightly different website maintenance requirements which is why we are more than happy to adjust our services to best cater to your business needs. As a part of our services, we also offer website maintenance packages – speak to a member of the Supersonic Playground team for more information on what these entail and which option might be the best for you.
Is website maintenance mandatory as a part of my web build?
Even though website maintenance isn’t mandatory, we do heavily recommend that you have an experienced developer on hand to take care of this. There’s a lot that can go wrong if you’re trying to take care of core/plugin updates and security implementation yourself which can greatly hamper functionality or even crash the whole site.
